Eviden to boost AI applications through Federated Cloud Supercomputing

Paris, France – November 15, 2023 – Eviden, theAtos Group (opens in a new tab)business leading in digital, cloud, big data and security today announces a contract and partnership with EscherCloudAI to develop European Artificial Intelligence (AI) and High-Performance Computing (HPC) cloud services and to integrate common resources into Eviden’s federated cloud supercomputing offer.

At a time where AI is revolutionizing business environments, it has become essential to facilitate and democratize access to HPC resources and expertise for businesses and organizations to drive AI use cases more easily and when needed. Through this European collaboration, customers will now benefit from a strong GPU (graphic processor unit) infrastructure as-a-service directly in Eviden’s Nimbix Cloud to drive AI workloads.

Through the Nimbix Cloud, clients will have access to the power of NVIDIA H100 & A100 Tensor Core GPUs and NVIDIA HDR Infiniband platform, hosted in EscherCloudAI’s data center. This, together with the Nimbix HyperHub™, a dedicated HPC and AI application marketplace, will enable users to leverage ready-to-use applications and workflows to develop AI use cases, such as those using Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Generative AI, rendering and other modeling.

This collaboration with EscherCloudAI will complement Eviden’s Nimbix Federated offering, the industry’s first federated supercomputing as-a-service suite launched in May 2022 (opens in a new tab), which can give access to virtual unlimited supercomputing power across multiple distributed HPC infrastructures. This offer provides a unified service console to manage all compute zones and regions in a public or private supercomputing ecosystem.
