Uncovering automation opportunities

With 12 business lines distributed globally, the client was faced with outdated process maps and documentation. These were unfit for training or reference purposes as they lacked an end-to-end process analysis. Additionally, their methodology to identify automation opportunities was manual, time-consuming and not standardized.

On the path to rediscovery

The client leveraged Eviden’s SyntBots Process Discovery tool to record existing processes, generate process maps and document standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Completing an integrated process analysis using Signavio, Eviden provided the client with a 360-degree view of their processes, applications, and workforce utilization. Continuous monitoring and careful evaluation of process improvements helped them update their documentation. Additionally, they were able to monitor their processes with dashboards that provided comprehensive process insights.

This entire process discovery and automation project led to more than 10,900 process maps created across 1,200+ sub-processes covering 210+ processes, which covered 4,300+ employees.

The updated process documentation resulted in more than 30% reduction in experts’ efforts for knowledge management and transition and a 3x faster turn-around time to develop a comprehensive knowledge repository.

Finally, interoperable business SOPs were created in Signavio.
