Eviden CAmelot is a modular PKI solution for building public key infrastructures that exactly fit organizational requirements. CAmelot is easy to modify and extend, supports both enterprise PKIs with X.509 certificates and authority PKIs with card-verifiable (CV) certificates, and can realize different security levels ranging from high-security architectures to cost-effective infrastructures with medium requirements. The platform is implemented in Java and can therefore operate on many platforms. It is positioned for individual PKI architectures, from simple PKIs with one CA to complex certification hierarchies, and for integration into existing IT environments and provisioning processes rather than forcing organizations to replace existing infrastructure.
