Franz is a member of the global Eviden TMT Cloud and Edge Competence Center, responsible for edge, MEC and telecom IoT. In this role, he advises telecom carriers on the convergence of edge computing and 5G RAN/core.

Franz has ~25 years of rich experience with IT security and physical security, specifically with AI video analytics in IT and OT. Today his main objective is to assist telcos who offer B2B digital transformation services on top of their networks, bringing distributed digital transformation to various end-customer verticals, from applications through infrastructure level. An expert in his field, Franz also has vendor-independent industry certifications in security, business continuity and project/program management.
He is a resident of Vienna, Austria.
