Eviden wins contract in Spain for innovative multi-cloud agreement to drive digital transformation of Galician regional public sector

Digital transformation to help shape an innovative and forward-looking Galicia

 The two-year contract with the Galician Agency for Technological Modernisation (AMTEGA) includes consultancy, training, communication and technical support services for the main cloud platforms that will be used for both AMTEGA and other regional bodies in Galicia

Madrid, Santiago de Compostela, and Paris, France – March 18 2024 – The Galician Agency for Technological Modernization (AMTEGA) has awarded Eviden, the Atos Group business leading in digital, cloud, big data and security, a Multicloud Agreement that marks a new milestone in the digitization and modernization of the public sector in Galicia. The contract, valued at up to 8 million euros, covers two years of service consumption on major cloud platforms, along with consulting, training, communications, and technical support services, available to both AMTEGA and any public entity in Galicia.

Public Cloud for Galician Public Entities

Through this contract, Eviden will provide Galician public entities with a cloud brokering service that facilitates the procurement of public cloud services, tools for governance with a focus on cost management, an advanced consulting service to foster the adoption of public cloud and drive digital transformation initiatives, and a 24/7 support service. Additionally, Eviden will offer training resources on various cloud technologies and a communications service to enable connectivity and use of services from major leading hyperscale providers in the market.

This strategic agreement allows AMTEGA and the Galician public sector to provide facilitated access to public cloud services, innovation programs, and training, ensuring consistent, secure, and proactive cloud usage. Furthermore, Eviden will provide advisory and incidental support through its resources and partners, promoting success stories to drive AMTEGA’s transformation goals.

Four Key Benefits

The framework agreement will generate various benefits, with four particularly highlighted. The first is public cloud resource consumption, where Eviden will facilitate access to public cloud service providers and all available innovation and training programs. The second is organization, providing AMTEGA with a mechanism for consistent and secure cloud usage, facilitating adoption throughout the organization.
