The Bull User Group for eXtreme Computing (BUX) is a global, independent community of users dedicated to enhancing the capabilities of large-scale, parallel scientific and technical computing systems provided by Atos/Eviden/Bull. The group fosters the exchange of information and knowledge about these systems and offers guidance to Eviden on critical development and support needs for large-scale technical environments. Eviden, as an affiliate, is committed to supporting this user group.
BUX was established on June 20th, 2011, during ISC’11 in Hamburg, following discussions earlier that year in Paris among users of Eviden’s extreme computing solutions.
The objectives of BUX are to:
- Facilitate the exchange of experiences among members and with Eviden.
- Provide Eviden with valuable insights and help prioritize their initiatives.
- Enable networking with Eviden’s HPC experts during BUX events.
- Identify emerging technologies and support long-term development efforts.
