Tom Demeester is the Microsoft Portfolio Lead for Eviden, driving strategic Generative AI initiatives and pioneering a cloud-based portfolio for transformation and application modernization, including the launch of CoPilot services in 2023.

He is a seasoned executive with a remarkable track record in international transformation, including successful turnarounds in Asia. His extensive experience in business and corporate development includes advising the board of PDI Thailand and contributing to Microsoft R&D USA.

Tom has more than 20 years of expertise and proficiency in market development, business unit management, startups, innovation, reorganization, corporate finance, and P&L management.

As an innovator in business transformation, AI and Generative AI, he was involved in Artificial Intelligence at Microsoft R&D Healthcare and IBM R&D as Business Unit Leader for IBM SE Asia Digital Workplace.

Tom’s hobbies include swimming, hiking and travelling. He has a keen interest in movies, classic music and multi-cultural events.
