The Client
2 Sisters Food Group is one of the leading food manufacturers in Europe, with more than 23,000 employees spread across the UK, the Netherlands and Poland. It is committed to delivering the highest quality products — from poultry to pizza to pies, from ready meals to a wide range of soups — to its retail and food service customers.
Getting it together
Every organization’s human resources team operates as a strategic partner, assisting managers in aligning employees with organizational objectives. However, these resources are unable to work effectively if functions such as payroll, talent management and people analytics are carried out using siloed applications.
2 Sisters Food Group was looking for a central, cloud-based HR platform to improve its people management and reduce administrative complexities.
Building common ground
2 Sisters worked with Eviden to build a core HR platform that integrates several SAP SuccessFactors modules and provides common processes based on best practices for the entire group to adopt.
Why Eviden
For more than 35 years, Eviden and SAP have partnered to create tailored solutions that deliver tangible, sustainable business results for our clients. Eviden is a global SAP Platinum Partner, with certified SuccessFactors consultants who combine technical expertise with real-life HR experience to help transform HR into a strategic function.
The following processes were enabled to support the group’s 23,000 employees across 35 sites:
- A learning management system
- Succession and development
- Performance and goals management
- Employee central
- Compensation management
This platform has enabled the company to quickly gain critical indicators to support business decisions and obtain a consolidated, unified view of the workforce and skills throughout the organization.
HR delivery transformed
Moving 23,000 people onto the new HR system has had deep and lasting benefits.
Employees have gained access to more than 700 courses on the SAP SuccessFactors learning solution. Regular performance feedback with clear goals and expectations has greatly improved employee engagement and development. Additionally, automating the compensation process has helped 2 Sisters promote a culture of recognition.
The new system also serves as a scalable platform for executives to handle new acquisitions without significantly increasing the workload of the HR department or disrupting business as usual. In fact, it has reduced the time required to integrate acquisitions from years to weeks.
Consolidating the disparate and inconsistent HR platforms has decreased manual workloads for the 2 Sisters HR team.
The new system has allowed for quicker reporting of consolidated data, saving countless hours on headcount reporting. It has also provided expanded and more timely insights into productivity and efficiency across the group.
Additionally, it has enabled a much simpler process for identifying emerging talent and potential internal successors for key positions, ensuring 2 Sisters has the right talent in the right places to continue its growth trajectory.
