A well-architected SAP migration

To address these challenges, the fintech needed to migrate its SAP S/4HANA system from on-prem to AWS cloud, and chose Eviden to guide the project. Eviden applied the AWS Well-Architected Framework to lead the fintech through every stage of the migration. In addition, Eviden was providing ongoing SAP technical administration to the fintech.

For the migration, one of the project team’s first actions was to set up a landing zone to secure a structured approach to cloud adoption. They incorporated best practices for governance, security and compliance. Without disrupting the fintech’s main business processes, they migrated the existing SAP systems and rehosted them in the AWS cloud.
