The collaboration will enable companies using HID technologies for physical and logical access control to access their digital assets using Eviden’s Identity and Access Management suite, commercialized under the “Evidian” brand. With this innovative approach, customers will be able to fully control their physical and logical access using a unique method for both authentications. While passwords for digital resources are the weak point of many security policies, Eviden’s Enterprise Access Management (EAM) strong authentication solution replaces passwords with Multifactor Authentication (MFA) and covers all authentication scenarios [1]. The OMNIKEY desktop readers including the OMNIKEY 5023 and OMNIKEY 5×27 portfolio are now compatible with the Evidian Identity and Access Management suite, allowing companies using HID technologies for physical access to leverage their credentials to securely and simply access applications, computers, networks or the cloud.
